The Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival appointed Haley Berryman to the role of Marketing & Communications Executive in August 2010. During this time, Haley has developed and implemented the digital marketing strategy including the launch of new social platforms and initiatives including ‘Shop the Runway’ in 2012.
Haley has over 7 years’ experience in marketing communications and more than 3 years specialising in digital asset management across apparel, tourism, event and service industries. After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing (Buyer Behaviour) and a Bachelor of Tourism Management (Events Marketing) at Victoria University of Wellington, Haley has worked in Australia, New Zealand and England to establish innovative marketing solutions for a number of small independent businesses and emergent brands.
In 2012, the Festival took on a new direction empowering consumers through the ‘It’s your Festival’ marketing campaign and providing a high quality, diverse and exciting schedule of events for everyone to enjoy. Haley’s digital experience ensured this all-embracing direction flowed from the runway and into the evolving digital ecosystem to engage fashion lovers and excite people about Australian fashion worldwide.
