Director and Producer - Event Gallery
Geraldine Frater is a specialist producer with extensive experience in project management of high profile events on an International stage. She lived in Europe for several years working for Dora Loewenstein Associates (DLA), one of London’s top charity and fundraising event organisers. Geraldine was involved in producing successful events and working on projects at DLA who’s clients included Madonna, Scarlett Johansson, Sir Timothy Knatchbull, Prince Rupert Loewenstein. Geraldine served as the Event Manager liaising between London and New York, for the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival and their Annual Gala Dinner for two consecutive years.
Geraldine is currently the Executive Producer for the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival which includes overseeing the Welcome Reception at Government House, Business Seminar’s at Sofitel, the outdoor music event held in Docklands, Producing the David Jones runway and 18 other runway shows showcasing over 70 designers including Dita Von Teese and Alex Perry. She is also the founder and director of Event Gallery’s new initiative Runway Production School.
